With Advantage St. Lawrence, the government wants to build the future by making the river a smart economic corridor, while striking a balance between the St. Lawrence’s various uses and the protection of natural environments and landscapes.

The PLAINE program was launched in 2021 by the Québec Maritime Network to support research projects on mitigating the impacts of navigation on ecosystems.
